The creativity that we see online each day is unmatched. Every day, we are treated to all sorts of clips and memes that place all of these creative juices on full display.

This latest clip, which has been provided by Canadian filmmakers at Folks Films, is a one-minute retelling of a story that we should all know and love by now: Alien.

We have never seen the plot from Alien acted out in such a way before, that is for sure. Best of all, these filmmakers did not even use fancy camera tricks or expensive props. They are utilizing objects that are found in our homes, objects that are used throughout the course of our everyday lives. These are the hilarious touches that we love and appreciate.

“Alien in 60 seconds”, the description reads and there is definite truth in advertising. The film was made so that the creators could compete in the 2022 10k One Minute Movie contest.

“Just recreate your favourite film in 60 seconds or less. Not a scene – the ENTIRE movie! …From there, a panel of judges from Corus Radio across Canada will choose the top 10 movies before crowning the $10k One Minute Movie Grand Prize Winner!” the contest description reads.

Alien fans are sure to love this one and we know that we did. It’s one of the funniest clips that we have seen in some time. As longtime fans of the movie, we must admit that we have acted out a few scenes ourselves. We have never put together anything this funny (or true to the original film).

We have yet to see any of the other entries in this content but if you are asking us? This one is going to be hard to beat. If anything, they should be provided with the funding that they need so that they can lengthen this video. A feature-length of this clip would be pretty awesome, if we do say so ourselves.
