Dad Gets Caught Wearing Shorts During A ‘Serious’ Business Zoom Call
Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, working from home has become a reality for many of us. Personally, I love working from home. It’s a great way to save money on commuting costs, plus there are no awful interactions with people in public before noon.
Oh, and did I mention sweatpants? They may be the best reason to work from home ever. Also, I find that I work better at home because it’s easier to concentrate on work rather than getting caught up in a chat with coworkers. But at the same time, I find it easier to focus at home because I don’t have kids.

For those people who have children, working from home might be a hit or miss throughout the course of the pandemic. Kids don’t always know the importance of closed doors. Sometimes, they just barge in and it happens to be an inopportune time – such as when you’re in the middle of a team meeting via Zoom. And that is what happened to a man named Joseph.
He was in the middle of a meeting on Zoom, when his son came into the room, dancing around. Joseph was immediately embarrassed and apologized to the team for the interruption and says, “Let me just lock the door.”

He then gets up and proceeds to lock the door behind him, ensuring that his son can’t come in and interrupt the meeting anymore. However, in his haste to lock the door, he forgot one crucial thing: He wasn’t wearing full pants.
Remember how I said earlier one of the best perks of working from home are sweatpants? Yeah, not having to fully wear a suit is something that Joseph was embracing, and he forgot that his colleagues could see him on camera.
Like many of us working from home, whenever we have to get dressed for appearing on camera, the majority of us probably have on sweatpants on the bottom as they’re hidden from view of the camera. I’m sure many of you reading can relate to getting dressed up professionally from the waist up just for the work call but remain extremely casual on the bottom half.

Well, Joseph was caught. His boss pointed out that he was wearing shorts. Joseph’s embarrassment went up even more. He was probably mortified that not only had his son interrupted the meeting but then he was caught in his casual shorts.
But he didn’t have to feel too bad. The embarrassment was about to be taken away as his boss then revealed his own turquoise shorts, showing him that he wasn’t the only one in the Zoom call rocking the pandemic mullet of office wear.
The wholesome video was shared on Reddit by Kaalvuis who captioned it, “Perks of working from home.”
