Photographer Shares A Common Reason For Ruined Family Photos And It’s Not The Kids

As it turns out, the fathers of the families that schedule these shoots tend to be the most problematic of all. Their attitudes end up ruining the proceedings.
At first, we thought that it was going to be the children who were at fault for these botched photo shoots. However, nothing could be further from the truth.
The grumpy dads are allegedly the ones spoiling these photos for everyone. TikTok user and professional photographer Han (who goes by @hannahholpay on the app) is here to share more about the experiences that she has had.
In a recent video, Han says that she cannot stand the fathers who act as if being a part of these photos is some sort of major inconvenience. The video begins with a stitched clip from another TikTok user, who vented about the fact that her husband was rushing everyone through the process.
His reasoning? He wanted to get back home so that he could play video games. If that’s not childish behavior, we do not know what is. “I cannot express to you guys enough how many men show up to photo shoots throwing a fit because they have to be there,” Han begins. The ironic part is that these bad attitudes actually make the process take even longer.
“If you guys would stop pouting like little children because you have to take pictures with your wife and family, my job could be done so much faster,” she continues.
This behavior can be problematic because so many fathers do not like to take pictures with their children in the first place. Mothers, on the other hand, have to schedule these shoots because they do not have enough family photos to remember the special moments.

In conclusion, Han tells the men who behave in this manner that they need to grow up and we could not agree more. It is ridiculous to behave like this over getting some pictures taken. So what if you miss an hour of video games? These moments are not going to last forever and we need to be doing everything we can to preserve the memories.
