College Student’s Dorm Fills With Snow After She Accidentally Left The Window Open
When the weather outside is frightful, you should probably keep your windows closed. This is something that we already knew, but apparently, the college student in this story needs a refresher course.
You won’t be able to believe your eyes when you see what happened to this Massachusetts college student’s dorm room. This is what happens when you make this sort of mistake during the winter months.
The unholy mess that she has created has been seen by over 2 million viewers on TikTok and we cannot stop laughing. “The consequences of leaving your apartment window open during a Boston blizzard,” the caption reads.
The video was initially uploaded by @youaintseennothing, the woman’s roommate. This Boston University student also provided a series of screenshots to add to the hilarity.
To make matters even worse, the student who was responsible for the frozen foolishness, was not even there at the time. Ashlyn had left the dorm to spend the night with her boyfriend at his dorm once winter storm Kenan hit. Unfortunately, the window was left open before she took off. The blizzard blanketed the students’ living quarters overnight and Ashlyn received some urgent texts about the matter the next day.
We cannot begin to imagine how annoying this would be. Imagine having to deal with this disaster and the person who is responsible for it isn’t even there to deal with the aftermath! The draft that she created was so powerful, her roommates could feel it from behind her closed door. The funniest part? Ashlyn claimed the window had been left open a “crack.”
Once they were able to retrieve the spare key and make their way inside, they walked into a real, live snow globe. The snow had covered her entire room and the roommates were left to scoop up all the snow with a dustpan. As soon as we saw this video, we knew that there was no way that this girl was from the east coast.
Our suspicions were right, as the roommate who posted the video ended up explaining that Ashlyn is from California. This is quite the way to learn your lesson about the east coast’s snowstorms but we are willing to bet that she will never leave the window open like this again! Check out the hilarious clip below:
