Once the calendar flips over to March, Women’s History Month arrives. While there are many who are already making their plans to celebrate, they may be unaware of the plans that other companies may have.

For example, did you know that Hershey’s is going to be throwing their hat into the ring once this yearly event rolls around? That’s right! Even the candy giant is getting in on the fun.

They have chosen a brand new wrapper to commemorate the occasion. The limited-edition “Celebrate She” bars are going to be available all over the country but you are going to want to act fast.

The label is an eye-grabber, that is for sure. We could hardly believe our eyes when we had the chance to check out this packaging.

“We are surrounded by women and girls that inspire us every single day. Creating this simple, but powerful and colorful change to our iconic milk chocolate bar serves as a reminder of how important they are in our lives,” said Veronica Villasenor, an executive from The Hershey Company, in a press release. “So grab a Hershey’s bar, share one and celebrate all women and girls through a simple, and sweet, gesture.”

Of course, this is a great touch but the company is not content to stop there. They are working tirelessly to support women and girls everywhere. In addition to the limited edition packaging, Hershey’s is teaming with the good folks over at Girls on the Run. This nonprofit organization has a youth development program that focuses on running and other physical activities.

They are looking to assist girls between the ages of 8 and 13. This organization’s objective is a simple one, as they are “designed to enhance girls’ social, emotional and physical skills and behaviors to successfully navigate life experiences.”

Over 20,000 girls are assisted by this program each year, making them an important part of our nation’s social fabric.

“For over 25 years, Girls on the Run has inspired girls and women to be confident and resilient while finding strength in connection with one another,” Elizabeth Kunz, CEO of Girls on the Run, shared as part of the press release from Hershey’s. To promote the limited edition bars, Hershey’s has come together with actress Mindy Kailing to create the commercial below. If you would like to check it out for yourself, please be sure to do so:
