You Can Lounge On A Mixtape This Summer Thanks To This New Pool Floaty

It’s April, meaning that we’re just a few months away from summertime. And summer means sunny days and summer vacation.

Granted, with summer comes warm weather and all the fun outdoor activities we associate with it like trips to the beach, backyard barbecues, and of course, pool parties.

For those of us lucky enough to have pools in our backyards, there is nothing better than sitting in a floaty and just letting a lazy afternoon roll on.

Of course, no lazy afternoon by the pool would be complete without a few selfies. A few years ago, giant unicorn floaties seemed to be all the rage, showing up on social media in nearly every pool-based photo out there.

But this summer there might be a new pool float that will pull focus in pictures. The New York City-based company, LÔTELI, has introduced a rather whimsical new pool float that is shaped to look like an oversized Maxell cassette tape.

The classic-looking float features a clear but light grey background on which there are two double-sided graphics that look exactly like the mixtapes of years gone by. Of course, millennials will probably appreciate these creations, but we’re sure gen-zers wouldn’t mind these either.

The product description states, “A LÔTELI original, the Classic Cassette is an oversized pool float in a clear light grey. With a Side A and Side B, you can flip it and float it any way you like.”
