Nail Tech Reveals One Mistake People Always Make When Getting Their Nails Done

Getting our nails done is one of our favorite activities and we try our best to schedule an appointment each week.

However, there is a simple mistake that many of us are making that is actually making things much more challenging for our nail technicians. Little did we know!

Nail technician @blossomacademy_ is here to make things easier for all parties involved. She’s taken to Instagram to let us know more and we are forever grateful to her for doing so. You are going to want to check out her video and see if this is something that you are doing. There is a good chance that you are already making this mistake.

Many were shocked by the clip, as they had no idea that this was taking place. “Well who knew! thanks for teaching us how it should be. I always thought that stand had the light on it so you could see best. Perfect nail customer from now on!” one person wrote. We know where they are coming from on that because we actually thought the same thing.

The cushion should be used in a manner that allows the nail tech to clearly see what they are doing. The light is not there so that you can admire your own nails, believe it or not. If this includes you, do not feel too bad. The mistake seems to be a rather common one, near as we can tell.

One of the nail artists who has had to deal with this even commented on the post. “Constantly having to lift their arm and bring it forward just to go back to the hand resting once it comes out of them lamp again,” she said. Another one chimed in to say that this happens to them every time, so there you go.

You are not alone when it comes to these mistakes. There are lots of people who are clearly making this mistake each and every time and they have no recourse. But now we know!
