TikTok is a never-ending wealth of entertainment, isn’t it? Just wait until you find out more about how this woman managed to mess up a job interview!

It’s one of the funniest stories that we have seen on the platform and that is saying something. Like many of us, she has been forced to do her interviews on video, instead of going in person.

When the clip begins, Chaylene Martinez is clearly not aware that she is in the middle of recording her only take. However, she is on the phone with a male friend and she is complaining about the company in question, SkyWest Airlines. It’s like something out of a bad movie, we swear.

“The question is the stupidest, cheesiest question I’ve ever read in my life,” she began. That’s a great place to start, if your goal is to never be considered for the position in a million years. “What is your impression of SkyWest company culture, and how does that resonate with you?”

From there, she starts to talk to the friend about the company’s mission statement. They are trying to spitball ideas but things do not seem to be going all that well.

“I can’t word this properly… and you have to record yourself saying it, so it’s so awkward,” she says. It isn’t long before she looks at her computer screen and comes to a horrifying realization. She was being recorded the entire time and is now unable to redo her take. She actually thought that she was in the middle of a practice take.

She sends the video saying, “I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize it was recording. I was practicing. So I was going to say…‘Sorry.’”

“Doing a video interview that you only get once chance to get right … accidentally started recording too early,” her caption reads. It will probably surprise no one to learn that this woman has been ghosted by the airline after this post went viral. Check out the clip below:
