While there are some who will break their necks to keep up with all of the cool kids on Instagram, there are others who are simply not going to be led astray.

That’s because we know that there is a whole lot of faking going on. There’s no reason to let yourself feel like you’re not doing enough in life because of an Instagram feed.

That’s a lesson that this social media starlet is more than happy to drive home for you. Kendall Kiper is going viral for sharing these hacks and we are willing to bet that she’s got a few Instagramers upset by giving up the game like this. As for the rest of us, it is nice to see someone ripping a great big hole through the facade.

With over 100,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok combined, Kiper is the perfect vessel for this message. She’s not some salty hater who is trying to put others down, she just wants to show people how easy it is to create the false appearance of luxury. Now that she is getting commissioned for brand advertisements on her page on a regular basis, she has to get a bit more creative when it comes time for photoshoots.

This most recent example took place in her backyard in Atlanta, Georgia. Of course, this is not the most tropical environment but she was able to make do. The “Slayy Home Depot” video has since gone viral and she took us behind the scenes. She purchased $45 worth of $4 sandbags because she was not about to let this opportunity pass her by.

Viewers saw her lounging in a bikini on the sand but this was all an illusion. “A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do,” she says in the clip. “I had a check that had to be made.”

We can fully understand where she is coming from here. It’s a crafty hack, for sure. For her part, she was pleasantly surprised by all of the positive responses.

She even made a few other behind-the-scenes videos to show how she stages pool photoshoots with a kiddie pool and posing in a fake meadow. Check out the clips below”
