13 Strangers Rent A Van To Travel Together After Their Flight Is Cancelled
Having a flight cancelled is one of the more annoying occurrences that life has to offer. Unfortunately, these things seem to be happening more and more, as airlines struggle to remain fully staffed.
When these strangers learned that their Frontier flight from Orlando to Knoxville on December 4th was cancelled, they would have been fully in their right to be very upset. After all, it is hard to stop on a dime and change travel plans.
Instead of pouting, they decided to make a different way for themselves. These 13 strangers got together and decided that they would rent a van to make the trip. Alanah (@alanahstory21) was one of the passengers on this trip and she elected to document the trip for the world of TikTok. The results were absolutely awesome.
It was great to see a group of strangers coming together to achieve a common goal like this. To get the video series started, Alanah took the time to have everyone go around and introduce themselves.
She provided regular updates as well. We got to see how they were doing three hours into the trip and she even offered up a grand finale.
We must warn you: There is some coarse language in these videos, so they may not be safe to open in certain settings. It’s all in good fun, though. They’re all clearly enjoying each other’s company and we love to see it.
It is not every day that you get to see a group of strangers coming together to embrace the open road like this.
In fact, we need more installments. Maybe this is something that we can see on a more regular basis. Perhaps other travelers who have similar experiences with canceled flights will be inspired to round up their fellow passengers and grab a van to make the trip.
We are willing to bet that the trip was very cheap once the cost of renting the van and gassing it up was split between 13 people.

In a world where plans can change at a moment’s notice, it is great to see people leaning into the chaos and having a good time.
Missing a flight is enough to make you want to go off on someone but these travelers avoided the urge to lose their cool. For that, they all deserve major kudos.
