Woman Plays Kid Movies As ‘Emotional Support Noise’ During The Workday
While there are many of us who have been able to start working from home without an issue, there are others who have struggled mightily.
It may seem silly to some but there are many who actually liked going to the office. When you are actually friends with your coworkers, there is something about going to work every day that cannot be replaced.
That’s what this woman is going through and we fully understand where she is coming from here. Right now, we are at a particularly precarious moment in human history. It is easy to see why people need some support. Kayla is here to share a TikTok on the matter and it is a great watch for anyone else who is struggling with the prospect of continuing to work from home.
She’s come up with a great plan to provide herself with some much-needed ambient noise. “Does anyone else put on an emotional support background noise movie while they try and survive their daily adult job?” Kayla asks in her clip.
When we first saw her workstation, everything looked suitably grown-up. She’s got her laptop, her work monitor, and all the necessary secondary items on hand.
However, once she pans out a bit, her choice of emotional support movie becomes apparent. She is actually watching Finding Nemo. “I’m about to be 30, but Nemo helps,” she shared. The rest of TikTok rallied around her and shared their selections. Golden Girls, Encanto, Frozen 2, Friends, and That’s So Raven were among the movies and shows that were named.
We would love to know what these people’s neighbors think of their selections. If we did not know any better and we lived next to these folks, we would have to assume that they are babysitting all day.
