Cake making sounds like a really fun job, especially those who are given the chance to make bespoke cakes for each client.

The prospect of choosing a baby name would not seem to be related to cake making but this story shows that there is a first time for everything. “My partner is a cake decorator and sees a lot. This one has to be my favorite so far,” this Reddit user shared.

From there, they shared a snap that they had received. The client wanted a Spider-Man themed cake that would also have light-up eyes. That seems simple enough, right? The design may be unique but that is not what people are talking about. It is the name that was included with the design that has people chattering and rightfully so.

When the cake client was asked what they wanted to be written on the treat, they had one easy request: “Happy 7th birthday Nylion.” This name may seem normal to some but for those who came across this post on Reddit? It was an absolute laugh riot. The comments section is chock full of all sorts of alternative suggestions for different names and we cannot stop laughing.

There are certain baby names that make us wonder what the parents were thinking. It’s not being said in a mean way, mind you. We are just curious as to what these names are and why parents come up with them. No one is saying that every child has to have the same type of name, but Nylion?

We have to presume that the other kids might have something to say about that. Hopefully, poor little Nylion has not been bullied too much at school. Although, now that we think about it, Nylion might fit in perfectly with all of the strange names that we see nowadays.

“So is it pronounced Nye-Lion or Nylon? Or, does the Y act as another sound like Nae-lee-on?” said one user, who stole the thoughts right out of our head.

How do you feel about this one? If you are anything like us, you probably had a brief moment where you thought that the child’s name was actually Spider-Man. In fact, we will not be surprised when this starts taking place. Now that superhero movies rule the movie world, it is only a matter of time before our kids go to school with an Iron Man (or at least a Tony Stark).
