Woman Gets Dozens Of Mysterious Amazon Packages Addressed To Other People
It’s a mystery for the ages and we would to get to the bottom of this one as soon as possible. TikTok user Olivia Douglass is sharing her bizarre story, which started innocently enough.
When an Amazon package mistakenly arrived at her house initially, she did not think much of it. After all, accidents happen on a regular basis and it is not like they were doing it on purpose.
However, things have gotten far crazier since then. The boxes continued to arrive at her residence and the pile grew and grew. She has since received over 40 packages, none of which are addressed to her.
Finally, she got to the point where she had to issue a video plea. Hopefully, she is able to get to the bottom of this one before things get any worse.
“Does anyone else have a Secret Santa that just keeps sending packages to your house, but to their name? … Anybody else, or is it just me?” she asked in her desperate video.
The video has been viewed 5 million times since she originally posted it back in November. As the unwanted packages continued to arrive, she documented the ongoing situation on TikTok.
Douglass was baffled and all of her followers were totally transfixed. They wanted to know what was inside of these boxes. Since the packages were technically addressed to her location but for different recipients, she contacted Amazon to see what she could do.
They gave her the green light and she decided to do some unboxing for the benefit of her audience.
@oliviamccdouglass i promise i’ll eventually open them #amazon #christmas #secretsanta #fyp
Once she and her husband took a closer look at what was inside, their bafflement only increased. As it turns out, they had received a series of flags.
Near as can tell, the intended recipient must be the most patriotic person of all time. We never could have expected this but we are happy for her nonetheless.

She claims that she now identifies as a flag girl and it is easy to see why. While some have suggested that she take to Amazon and resell the flags, she has decided that she is going to donate them to artists who find themselves in need.
At the moment, she is still considering her next steps and we look forward to seeing what she does now.
