This woman decided that she was going to paint her nails on a three-hour flight and as you would expect, the internet has had a lot to say about it.

Her fellow passenger decided to out her. We cannot imagine how annoying it would be to sit next to someone who has decided to do this on a flight. Flying is already stressful and this person is only making it worse.

“This woman painting her nails on a 3 hour plane journey,” Reddit user u/tazdoestheinternet captioned the photo when they shared it on Reddit.

The poster even asked them to stop, according to the comments. Apparently, three other passengers requested the woman to put the polish away as well but she refused to listen.

Eventually, the flight attendant got involved but by that point, the woman was already applying her top coat. This is where the internet had its chance to weigh in. The comments ranged from total agreement to those who did not believe that this is a big deal at all.

Some pointed out that there are worse things that you can do on a flight but we are sure that this was still very perplexing for the person that had to endure it. “If you all asked her to stop and she didn’t – that’s even worse than her lack of awareness,” said one Reddit user. Another chimed in to call out this woman’s extreme sense of entitlement.

“Absolutely NOT! I had a woman painting her nails next to us the last time we went to the UK. The smell is SO STRONG, especially when you’re enclosed in a small space and trying to sleep. HARD NO for me,” said one woman who commented on this act.

“That poor woman is trying to meet society’s standards of how a woman should look, multi-tasking cos ain’t no woman got time for sitting idly for three hours!” said another woman.
